Prom season runs hard here — the Lafayette store books out on Saturdays in March and April, so come during the week if you can. Groups from Broussard, Youngsville, Carencro and Scott all get fitted at the Ambassador Caffery store.
Walk-ins welcome — no appointment needed for anything we do in store.

Rent the jacket and pants together and those four come with it. Shoes and the damage waiver are the only add-ons, and you see the total before anyone pays.

Bring a photo or a swatch. We match the vest, tie and pocket square in store so nothing is a surprise in the photos.
Come as a group
Friends renting together can coordinate or deliberately not — same jacket with different vests is the usual ask, and it costs no more.
Walk-ins welcome
No appointment for anything we do in store — browsing, measuring, a fitting or pickup. Call ahead only if you want a stylist held for a big group.
Alterations in house
Hemming and adjustments happen at the store, not at a vendor three states away, so a fix before your date is a fix, not a gamble.
Slim, tailored or classic
Three fits on the rack, not one. If you are between sizes we will get it right rather than sending you out in something baggy.

Three to four weeks before the date is comfortable, and earlier is better in March and April when the whole parish is renting at once. We can usually still help closer in — call the store and ask rather than assuming it is too late.
Can you match the vest and tie to my date’s dress?
Yes, and it is the single most common thing we do in prom season. Bring a photo or, better, a fabric swatch, and we will match it in store.
What does a prom rental include?
Jacket and pants rented together include the shirt, tie, vest and pocket square. Shoes and the damage waiver are add-ons.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any day we are open. If a group of eight is coming at once, a phone call ahead means a stylist is free when you arrive.
When do I bring it back?
The store will give you the return date when you pick up — normally the first business day after prom. Late returns are charged, so check the date on your paperwork.
